A ledger, not an estimate
Top-ups, usage charges, credits and adjustments are append-only entries. The current balance is the sum of those recorded movements.
Two pricing models
Deployments are billed for active capacity at the rate fixed when they start. Ready-to-use models apply published input and output rates to recorded usage.

Use deployment usage and model request records to understand which workloads consume balance before changing capacity or traffic.
